07-13-03 Racing the Fairmont with the STOCK 6cyl engine!
Took ol' Blue to the Ford Fun Day today and ran it in trophy class...lets just say I pissed ALOT of guys off racing and just watching in the stands...why bother with 19.00 ET's one guy says...I sent alot of them packing.
Ended up in runner up (second place) which aint too bad for only getting 3 passes in before race time.
At the end of the day I had almost had a cult following of Ford lovers cheering me on, telling me what a nice car, good job driving...one guy wanted to buy Code Blue even! AND I was the ONLY Fairmont in the whole place!!!!!
those guys really hate 19.68 ET's....
