With full interior, 3.50 gears and 1/2 tank of 91 Conoco gas, speed shifting @6000 rpm...........oh the radio & wipers still work.

BTW car# is 149 (Right Lane) 1st pass out:
Yes I ran a 1.4 60' time with BONE stock 1965 Mustang suspension!
Must be the chrome slapper bars!!

I was asked by two 2 techs on my next pass where my fire jacket was and roll cage were?
I told both of them I have never ran this fast before, I'll slow it down on this pass...BUT...

2nd pass out:

I was one of the faster cars tonight...HELL I was running what most of the tubbed out cars coming out of the Hot Lanes were running!!

Just feels real good to know that all my money, blood, sweat and tears have paid off.
I just can not type enough here to explain all the hours I have spent on this project.
This is an AWESOME Mustang and everyone I know wishes they could have it BUT its all mine guys...sorry
SWEET

History Lession 101

Flash Back to 1986...

I was 15 then and looking for a car. My mother new where this 65 Mustang was for sale. "A 65 Mustang...COOL," I told my parents. So off I went to go look at it. It was PUKE GREEN (Honey Gold)...YUCK! I said that when I first laid eyes on it...no way was I going to drive that! After going back to look at the car (about 5 times), something was calling me...."take me home, make me go fast" the Mustang said to me.

So I took it home back in the summer of 86 and the rest is history...it was a kick ass to drive this Stang all through High School and its STILL kicking ass today!

Class Dismissed!

I did not run the 11's with that little air filter on the car. This is before I swapped over to a 13" Motorsport w/ a K&N filter.
